sweet mantra
today was an odd day
somewhat depressed
a different feeling than other days
a "i really really don't care" day
a "i really don't care to do this" day
a "why do i have to deal with this" day
and then i remember
this day will pass
to one closer to paradise
a new world of peace
no car problems, odd neighbors
empty pockets, heavy scale
as i leave the house
i say, "come Lord Jesus, come."
